Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on 7 December 7 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household of faith, supported by loving and devoted parents.  Chris Oyakhilome Family He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed on to her son in the early years of his life.

The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken is Ken's older brother and an active member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council.  Pastor Chris Oyakhilome KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is the director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This organization is home to many gospel artists, who are among the top sellers worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following to follow the route of her father in preaching the Gospel of God to the world. Also known as CSO she is an award-winning gospel singer and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with a BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. Additionally, he holds an honourary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to join the ministry and become an obedient servant of the Lord.

The Man of God who was still in university, began what would later become one of the most significant churches in the world. A small group of prayer known as Youth for Christ’ was established. It would grow into one of the most popular organizations on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions with the base of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Pastor Chris was the leader of the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite TV and Christian production and programming on television. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station to broadcast from Africa 24/7 a day, on air-free networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on cable and satellite networks all over the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria in addition to South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The church has two Healing Schools, based in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year where miracles are performed.

Music and Gospel Music are an important part of the worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry to train choirs. Many of these singers become successful solo artists through Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's spirit and guidance.

The Future African Leaders Foundation is an organization that continues the work of inspirational Pastor Chris. It is aimed at identifying and developing talented, young leaders and preparing them for a positive future by recognizing the achievements of these young leaders and encouraging them to continue. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a passionate donor who established the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) a nonprofit, nongovernmental organisation with the aim of helping the most disadvantaged communities and people in the most deprived regions and countries around the world.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver essential services and provide hope to the poor, needy, and forgotten. COFI is supported by five partners, all of whom is dedicated to improving the living standard in remote regions.

COFI is the responsible organization for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) along with the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups works to enhance the health, lives and spirits of the most in need.

The charity also offers financial assistance to children who are in poverty. Pastor Chris believes that strong community foundations are supported by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This helps to promote accountability leadership and good governance. It also supports sustainable development in Africa as well in other vulnerable areas of the world, in line to the Sustainable Development Goals. It's simple to allow Pastor Chris to serve as an ambassador for Christ by having such a broad and effective ministry.
